Romelu Lukaku has played 540 minutes for Manchester United so far this season, and the Belgian striker has repaid his £75 million price tag with six goals in his opening six games.

Like Chelsea's new signing, Alvaro Morata, the 24-year-old striker joined from Everton with plenty of doubters, but Lukaku has let his feet do the talking.

In all competitions, Lukaku has scored eight goals in eight games. That's quicker than the likes of Eric Cantona and the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will challenge the Belgian on his return.

But we've also seen another side to Romelu Lukaku.

We perhaps didn't see it all that much at Goodison Park, but a fiesty, passionate character has arrived at Old Trafford with purpose.

After the final whistle blew at St Mary's, Romelu Lukaku's reaction says it all.

His goal in the 20th minute gave Manchester United an important three points, and Lukaku's passion after the full-time whistle is clear in this below clip:

Incredible scenes.

Lukaku has been in the headlines of late after news emerged that Kick It Out, the equality and discrimination organisation within football, condemned a chant about Lukaku and urged Manchester United to put an end to the song.

The song, to the tune of 'Made of Stone' from United-associated band The Stone Roses, makes reference to the size of Lukaku's manhood and has caused a real stir.

Lukaku has since commented on the song through United's official Twitter account, saying:

The chant was doing the rounds during Manchester United's 3-0 win over Basel in their first Champions League game of the season last week.

Should the chant be banned immediately?
