Monday Night Football will showcase one of the most anticipated games in years as Manchester United face bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
Some of world football's best and most expensive talent will feature in tonight's tie and it got us thinking - who are the worst to have played for either side in Premier League history?
While Sir Alex Ferguson brought in the likes of Eric Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson during his time at Old Trafford, Bruno Cheyrou and Djimi Traore were a product of Gerard Houllier's questionable transfer business at Anfield.

Don't get me wrong, both sides are draped in history and will forever be regarded as England's greatest but even the very best get it wrong sometimes.
Here is our worst Liverpool/Manchester United combined XI:
Goalkeeper: Massimo Taibi
He may have picked up the MOTM award against Liverpool on his debut but Massimo Taibi only went on to play for Manchester United another three times before being shipped off to Italian side Reggina.
One of the worst goalkeepers to ever grace the Premier League.

Right Back - Josemi
Rafael Benitez's first signing as Liverpool manager was certainly a poor one. In the summer of 2004, the new Liverpool boss brought in Josemi from Malaga for £2 million but his lack of consistency meant that he was only at Anfield for two years.
Centre Back - William Prunier
Prunier joined Manchester United after buying out his contract at French side Bordeaux and although he played well on his debut against Queens Park Rangers, his next appearance against Tottenham was a disaster.

Prunier was voted the sixth worst Manchester United player of all time with just 2 appearances. Crazy.
Centre Back - Djimi Traore
Although some regard him as the greatest talent to ever grace the game, Djimi Traore is in fact one of the worst. To put it nicely, he looked suspect on the ball and lacked composure at the best of times.
"When the ball hits the sky and hits you in the eye, that's Traore."

Left Back - Fabio
Brazilian brothers Rafael and Fabio were touted for big things at the start of their Manchester United career's but Fabio in particular struggled to gain minutes in the first team set-up.
Although this choice may be harsh, Fabio made just over 20 appearances for United after a promising start to his career under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Centre Midfield - Eric Djemba Djemba
So good they named him twice.

He was dubbed the 'new Roy Keane' but after making just 39 appearances for Manchester United, Djemba Djemba made the move to fellow Premier League side Aston Villa in 2005.
Centre Midfield - Kleberson
In the summer of 2003, Sir Alex Ferguson famously brought in Kleberson and Cristiano Ronaldo to try and challenge for domestic trophies again, and although the latter flourished at his new club, the Brazilian struggled at his new club.
Right Midfield - Bebe
The previously homeless Portuguese winger was an unknown in Portugal when United bought him for £7.4 million. The winger made just seven dreadful appearances before being sold to Benfica in 2014.
We aren't forgetting those horrific crosses against Wolverhampton Wanderers in a hurry, sorry Bebe.
Left Midfield - Bruno Cheyrou
He was touted as the next Zinedine Zidane but when it came to the nitty gritty, Bruno Cheyrou was more interested in driving Lamborghini's and Ferrari's than playing football.
An awful signing from Houllier.
Striker - Andriy Voronin
Famed for his dismal ability to finish one-on-ones, Voronin was brought in by Rafael Benitez on a free but his lack of composure in front of goal was just the start for his lacklustre career at Liverpool.
With just six goals for the club, his legacy as one of the worst players to ever play for Liverpool is ever-present.
Striker - David Bellion
Bellion managed just one goal in 20 appearances for Sunderland during his two year spell in Wearside but that didn't stop Sir Alex Ferguson purchasing the forward for £2 million.
Bellion managed just four goals in 24 appearances for the club and was sent on loan to West Ham and Nice between 2005 and 2007.
His transfer will forever be regarded as one of the strangest pieces of business Ferguson made.
