Wayne Rooney has forged a reputation in years gone by for his incredible work rate and stamina.
Last night, the 32-year-old proved to the world that he has still got that drive and determination to win a game at all costs.

The former Manchester United striker then produced a magnificent 30-yard, cross-field ball to give teammate Luciano Costa a relatively simple header to win the game in extra time.
