Loris Karius Receives Truly Incredible Welcome On His Return To Liverpool Training

Loris Karius Receives Truly Incredible Welcome On His Return To Liverpool Training

Saturday 26 May was a night to forget for LIverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, but his return to pre-season training this week will be remembered more fondly.

As we all know, Jurgen Klopp's side suffered defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final and two unfortunate blunders from the German goalkeeper played a huge part in the loss.

It just wasn't the goalkeeper's night and after the final whistle, he sobbed to the travelling support and asked for forgiveness.

With tears in his eyes, Karius raised his hand and apologised for his errors.

It was a heartbreaking image for those watching on but months after some fans aimed abuse at the goalkeeper, his return to training was filled with incredible messages of support.

Karius may have been slightly nervous ahead of his reemergence into the spotlight, but he had no need to be.
