Emma Hayes will be given a pitchside role by ITV during England's upcoming semi-final clash against Denmark.

It was announced back in May that the Chelsea Ladies head coach would join ITV's punditry line-up alongside the likes of Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Ian Wright, who labelled Hayes' commentary as "elite" earlier this month.

She has since provided the nation with tactical nous and knowledge on commentary at this summer's Euro 2020.

Hayes has earned some well-deserved plaudits for her insightful and well-researched punditry throughout the tournament, including Spain's round of 16 victory against Croatia, and now she has been rewarded.

As a result of her incredible popularity amongst their viewership, ITV have adjusted their plans so Hayes can provide analysis from pitchside at Wembley, according to The Telegraph.

The report also claims that Hayes will also contribute to the commentary on Wednesday night.

Ahead of Spain's win against Croatia at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen last month, fellow commentator Karen Carney gave fans an insight into Hayes' pre-match preparation.

She posted a picture of the 44-year-old's detailed notes on social media.

Here are just a number of reactions from the public on Hayes' commentary at the European Championship this summer.
