Jack Wilshere has been 'rewarded' for his fine form in recent weeks with a new Arsenal contract, however, people have labelled the deal a 'disgrace' and a 'joke'.
It turns out the England international has been offered less money than his current deal but it is heavily incentivised, according to BBC reporter Ian Dennis.
Wilshere is currently on a £110,000-a-week salary at Arsenal.
Understand Arsenal have offered a new deal to Jack Wilshere. The offer is less money than his current deal but it's heavily incentivised. #AFC

The new deal though would mean that Wilshere would take home £90,000 a-week, with 'heavy' incentives making up the rest.
It has been questioned whether the 26-year-old will be offered a new contract, with rumours suggesting he could leave on a free in the summer.
What Arsenal could have been...
After news emerged of his new deal, plenty were outraged by the decision.
Here are some of the reactions from Twitter in recent hours:
They've offered less cause they know he'll take it because he loves the club so much. Such a joke. Club is a shambles
