Everybody was confused by the situation...

It was a disappointing afternoon for Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal side. I mean, Alexis Sanchez lost possession 15 times in the first-half against Manchester City, more than any other player on the pitch.

Did he already think he was playing under Pep Guardiola?

Seriously though, the Premier League leaders looked superb against Arsenal as Sergio Aguero sported a custom made Puma boots to celebrate becoming the club's all time top scorer.

He was eventually subbed off for Gabriel Jesus in the second half, with the majority of the Etihad applauding his efforts.

But as he left the field of play, many eagle-eyed viewers spotted that Aguero was carrying something in his right hand.

People on social media are convinced that Aguero was holding a pager of some sort. Did the referee hand him the item as he was being substituted?

Anyway, the scenario involving Aguero was rather confusing and people suggested that he was in fact carrying a pager:

Goals from Aguero, Kevin de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus sealed an emphatic victory at the Etihad, as City stretch their lead at the top to eight points.

Do you think Guardiola's side already have one hand on the Premier League trophy?
