Paul Pogba has just given away a ridiculous penalty which was converted by West Ham United to put them 1-0 up against Manchester United at half time. Pogba used his hands to protect his head from a shot while in the box.

Manchester United are currently 1-0 down against West Ham United and even though they are completely outplaying the London team, Paul Pogba is completely at fault for the deficit.

This is due to his embarrassing handball near the end of the first half which gave a penalty to West ham which Michail Antonio easily converted on the stroke of half time.

West Ham were able to win a free-kick around 30 yards out from United's goal and with Declan Rice taking a very hopeful shot that was going no way near the goal, the French midfielder put his hands up to protect his face from Rice's strike, easily giving away the penalty.

The action by Pogba is something you'd rarely see in Sunday League, let alone in the English Premier League and the fans are not happy with Pogba's actions.

Going into this game United were tied with Leicester on points and goal difference with United in fifth place, while Leicester in fourth. With both of them ready to face each other on the last day of the season on Sunday, United need as much as they can from this game against West Ham.

However, if Pogba keeps this up, he might be wasting away United's chance to be in the UEFA Champions League next season.
