Five years ago today, Chelsea signed Mohamed Salah. The rest is history.
In 2014, Mohamed Salah ventured to the Premier League by signing for Chelsea in a transfer worth a reported Β£11 million.
But it didn't work out at Stamford Bridge. He played just 13 top flight games, scoring only two goals during his time in West London.

Salah was eventually sold for a believed Β£12 million. Though, of course, he returned to England after penning a deal with Liverpool in 2017, and he's absolutely smashing it.
Liverpool lured the Egyptian international away from Rome for Β£36 million and in his debut season, he delivered a phenomenal term.
We're talking a record-breaking 32 Premier League goals from just 36 games.

Naturally, he was named Premier League Player of the Season. He picked up a bunch of other prestigious awards, too, such as the PFA Players' Player of the Year as well as the FWA Footballer of the Year.
And the 26-year-old has dispelled any one-season wonder talk by continuing his heroics, this season.
He's already weighed in with an impressive 16 league goals as Liverpool mount a serious bid to win the Premier League title.
