Andreas Pereira, Demetri Mitchell and Scott McTominay have all been included in the Manchester United side travelling to their US tour today, but one squad member was left behind by manager Jose Mourinho on Sunday afternoon.

It looks like Adnan Januzaj's four year spell at Manchester United is coming to end after the 22-year-old will not play a part against the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City during the three week tour.

This news comes just hours after it was revealed Jose Mourinho had decided against giving the Belgian a squad number ahead of the 17/18 season, according to the Mirror.

Januzaj, who spent six years as a youth player at Anderlecht before joining United as a 16-year-old in 2011, was tipped for greatness at the start of his United career.

In April 2013, Sir Alex Ferguson tipped the youngster to become a star, but his time at Old Trafford has slowly disintegrated over time.

He started his career under David Moyes with a superb debut performance against Sunderland. He bagged twice and started to make an impression in the first team.

Januzaj was then loaned to Sunderland last season, where he failed to help the club maintain Premier League status. In all honestly, he struggled to produce consistent performances on weekly basis.

Now it's almost certain that Mourinho will dispose of the once heralded 22-year-old.

The Mirror report also stated that Mourinho believes Januzaj is too lightweight for his squad and is ready sell him.
