What Jose Mourinho Said After Man Utd's Draw Against Burnley Is Actually Ridiculous
The Red Devils went into today's match in the vein hope of keeping in touch with runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City but, before they knew it, it was 2-0 to the visitors before half-time.

A comeback inspired by Jesse Lingard - who also missed a gilt-edged sitter - eventually rescued a point, but it now means United's position in second-place is now far from solid.
Jose Mourinho was faced with journalists baying for blood after the full-time whistle, and rather than putting up a classic defensive retort, he simply admitted more money needs to be spent on his already massively expensive squad:

Mourinho: "We are in the second year of trying to rebuild a team. £300m is not enough. City buy full backs for the price of a striker." Ever tried coaching? The audacity of the prick.- FK :coffee: (@fkhanage) December 26, 2017

Mourinho said of his £300 million outlay, via the Mirror: "It's not enough, it's not enough.
"Manchester City buy the full-backs for the price of the strikers, so when you speak about big football clubs, you are speaking about the history of the club.
"And the price for the big clubs, the price for the big clubs is different from the other clubs, so the big, historical clubs are normally punished in the market for that history."
United have now taken just eight points from their lat five games and will be 15 points adrift of Man City if Pep Guardiola's side win at Newcastle to make it an incredible 18 consecutive Premier League victories.

Look at God. You can't spend £300M and still play boring football and get away with it.
But what do you make of his comments?
Surely £300 million is enough to compete at the top?
