Toni Kroos will open his Twitter app to thousands of identical messages after Germany's World Cup exit.

So here's a lowdown of the situation. If you didn't manage to catch the game, Germany were knocked out of the World Cup after South Korea shocked the world with two injury-time goals.

Two injury time goals from Kim Young-Gwon and Son Heung-Min left the footballing world in a state of shock.

Shortly after the final whistle, Brazil fans were certainly vocal about their defeat but why?

Joachim Low's side famously smashed seven goals past their team at the 2014 World Cup and two years later, Kroos posted a message that upset many Brazilians.

51 minutes before the start of 2017, he wrote the following on Twitter to celebrate the new year.

Brutal, but Brazilians finally got their revenge on Wednesday evening after Germany were eliminated from the tournament.

A huge amount of fans proceeded to spam Kroos' tweet with the following message.

It didn't stop there. Brazilian fans continued to spam the above post again and again and again.

And they're still going now.
