Someone might want to let Neymar know that the 2018 Ballon d'Or ceremony was on last night.

While Luka Modric picked up his first Balon d'Or trophy, breaking Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's dominance, Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar was busy playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 and Battlefield on streaming website Twitch. No, seriously.

If you fancy watching the Brazilian being extremely bad at the game, then watch the below. He dies instantly, pretty much.

The 26-year-old eventually came in 12th place for the prestigious prize, behind the likes of Harry Kane, Raphael Varane and teammate Kylian Mbappe, as Modric scooped the gong.

And he clearly wasn't too bothered about the result as he played CoD with his mates, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos.

Neymar isn't the only player to have tried his hand at streaming on Twitch in recent months, but of course his decision to play a game while the Ballon d'Or ceremony was going on has got plenty talking.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic brought his larger than life personality to the virtual world, while Dele Alli and Harry Kane are also huge fans of the franchise.

But the PSG forward's antics last night grabbed far more attention that the above names:
