RB Leipzig want to get rid of summer signing Ilaix Moriba, who they deem to be "immature".

Moriba left Barcelona for the Bundesliga side in a deal costing an initial €16 million, with the potential for a further €6 million if certain variables are met.

But it doesn't look as though the additional payment will be made as a new report from BILD claims Leipzig regret signing the 19-year-old and deem him surplus to requirements.

He made just two appearances in the Bundesliga and was not fancied by Jesse Marsch, now Leeds United boss or current manager Domenico Tedesco.

The latter sent him on loan to Valencia in January, where he's played seven times in all competitions.

Bizarrely, the club were apparently staggered over Moriba making the club's physios bring him grapes when he received massages

The Red Bull outfit will look to offload the Guinea international at the earliest opportunity and Barca are entitled to 10% of the fee after including a sell-on clause.

Moriba, who was with Espanyol as a youngster, broke into the Barca first-team at the end of the 2020/21 campaign, featuring 18 times.

However, he was reportedly demanding more than €100,000-per-week in contract talks, which led to public criticism from Ronald Koeman, who told him "that money is not the most important thing".

He was then dropped from both first-team and reserve squads, before ultimately departing.
