Premier League Club 'Preparing' £88 Million Bid For Dele Alli

The transfer window has only been officially open for two days but there's already a contender for the worst transfer rumour of the summer.

Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli is being linked with a move to Premier League champions Chelsea.

Spanish outlet Don Balon (how on earth they have got wind of such a story?!) are responsible from the rumour and say that Antonio Conte is so high on the 21-year old after his sublime 20-goal season in the Premier League that he wants to sign him for €100 million euros (£88 million).

We can all agree that there's little, if any, substance to reports linking Alli to Chelsea and it's 100 per cent not happening.

It really is going to take something to find a crazier rumour all summer but then again a lot can happen before the transfer window slams shut on 31 August.
