Robert Pires and Thierry Henry forged a deadly partnership as they spearheaded the glory days at Arsenal. Though the winger has surprisingly overlooked his French colleague when naming the best player he played with at Arsenal.
The French duo produced heroics as they went the whole of the 2003/04 Premier League season unbeaten, eventually holding aloft the title in a canter, 11 points ahead of their nearest rivals, Chelsea.
Pires enjoyed six successful years at their previous home, Highbury, before eventually venturing to Spain's La Liga but cleaned up domestic honours. From league titles to FA Cups.

Though despite their relationship on the field, Pires has opted for Dennis Bergkamp as the best player he's played with while in North London. To be fair, it's still a great choice.
"With Arsenal there was Thierry Henry but I think the best was Dennis Bergkamp." Pires said via Sky Sports.
The non-flying Dutchman was already at the club when Pires arrived from Marseille. Bergkamp won three league titles as well as four FA Cups, yet he'll be remembered for his goals against Leicester City, and more so his insane individual effort where he ruined Dabizaz to score one of, if not, the greatest Premier League goal.

But there's absolutely no qualms about the best international teammate he played with. Pires, who won 79 caps for Les Bleus, chose Zinedine Zidane while detailing the influence he had on his career.
"With the national team it would be Zinedine Zidane. He was one of the best players in the world and it was a privilege for me because I learnt a lot from training with him."
Through their exploits, Pires and Zidane won the World Cup in 1998 on home soil followed by the European Championship while the Gunners legend also picked up two FIFA Confederation Cups.
And while we're reminiscing - just for good measure...
Those were the days, right Arsenal fans?!
