Neymar Closing In On Return To Barcelona
After the never-ending speculation regarding his future, it looks like Neymar's return to Barcelona might actually be happening.
There have been a flurry of reports detailing the Brazilian's desire to leave PSG for a second spell with the Blaugrana, with a whole host of rumoured player-plus-cash offers being knocked back by the Ligue One champions.
But now, the reliable Gianluca di Marzio is saying that the mammoth transfer is in the closing stages after the two clubs reached an agreement.
Neymar's £198 million move to PSG came out of nowhere in 2017 and the former Santos starlet has since gone on to lift back-to-back Ligue One titles.
He's scored 51 in 58 games in all competitions for the Parisiens but hasn't quite been able to get onto the level of Lionel Messi, which was said to be one of the key reasons in him swapping Barcelona for PSG in the first place.
Yet the 27-year old is poised to do a dramatic u-turn and return to Barcelona, where he scored 105 goals in 186 appearances - winning three Copa del Reys, two La Liga titles and the Champions League in 2015 - the last time the Catalonian outfit lifted the richest prize in club football.
Should Neymar's rumoured return go ahead, we will see the devastating trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez reunited at the Nou Camp.
