Matty Longstaff, Newcastle United's match-winner against Manchester United, is still on an £850-a-week contract at the club.
Longstaff made his Premier League debut against the Red Devils last week and ran the game alongside elder brother Sean, who presented him with the Man of the Match award after his second half screamer, in a wonderful moment post-match.
Longstaff received rave reviews for his stunning Premier League debut for the Magpies but it's since emerged, according to The Sun, that the 19-year old is still on the same professional contract he signed in 2018.
It means his salary is much lower than his teammates currently, not that he'll mind mind too much given he's living the dream, but Newcastle are said to be keen on tying him down to a new and improved long-term contract before it expires at the end of the campaign.
Commenting on his future in a recent interview, Longstaff said: "Obviously, I want to stay at Newcastle. But the biggest thing for me is just to carry on playing well, and that will take care of itself."

His brother Sean, linked with a £50 million move to Manchester United in the summer, is contracted until 2022 but is also poised to have an extension offered to him.
