A bizarre new FIFA 21 glitch sees the goalkeeper go out of play and unable to do anything.

Glitches in FIFA have been a regular occurence over the years but this could be one of the most unusual yet and is causing a lot of problems for a whole host of players.

Over on Reddit in the FIFA section, user 'tealyg99' posted a clip of the absolute absurdity going on with his goalkeeper in a recent game on Squad Battles.

While 7-0 up in the second half, he was awarded a free-kick in his own box that ended up being taken right on the goal-line. However, as the goalkeeper lined up to take it, he ended up behind the goal and could only kick at the netting.

The frustrating scenes happened for a lengthy period, as 'tealyg99' explained that he got to a ridiculous 38 minutes of added time before he finally disconnected.

This particular glitch has been experienced by several members of the FIFA community as plenty of people in the comments have said they had the exact same thing happen to him.

News of this glitch comes after Ultimate Team players discovered a "hack" that ensures they score with every single shot on target.

Compilations of the trick begun to circulate on Reddit and it's actually quite easy to do, albeit a bit unsportsmanlike.

This year's game has seen chipped/lobbed efforts receive a massive upgrade and they feel easier to score than ever before.

And if you flick the ball in the air with a rainbow flick or even a simple forward flick, you'll get extra height on your shots and keepers have no chance of saving your shot.

YouTuber NepentheZ shared a video on Twitter, with a number of streamers also weighing in with replies.

The new version of FIFA 21 has only recently made the switch to Next-Gen consoles but when it comes to glitches, it seems some things will never change.
