Mohamed Salah's stunning season for Liverpool has seen him rack up the points on Fantasy Football - and the man himself has admitted that he has benefitted from his fine form.

With 31 goals and nine assists in the Premier League, the PFA Player of the Year has accrued a sensational 292 points in FPL this year and is just four short of beating the record Luis Suarez set (295) in 2013/14 when the Uruguayan was on fire for Liverpool.

A 60-minute outing with no goals conceded or any cards against Brighton on the final day will ensure he levels Suarez's total, while Salah could well become the first player to reach 300+ points on the game if he finishes the league campaign in style with at least a goal or assist.

Of all the records, you'd suspect that this is one that 'The Egyptian King' isn't too fussed about.

However, it turns out that the 25-year old loves a bit of Fantasy Football and his tasty team includes himself, his front three colleagues Mane and Firmino, Egyptian teammates Hegazi and Elneny, before he sold the latter - as well as the likes of Courtois, Hazard, Matic and De Bruyne, who he worked with at Chelsea.

"I have Courtois and Hegazi, had Elneny but sold him," he is quoted as saying on Egyptian TV, via Reddit/r/FPL.

"I've also got Firmino, Mane, Vardy, Matic, Hazard, and De Bruyne. I also own myself."

With those attacking players, surely he's top of Liverpool's league? One might struggle to understand how he's been able to fit so many big guns in, but maybe he's brought some low-cost players in as well.

Like every one of us, he's also almost certainly triple-captained himself at some point during the season.

In other FPL news, Ashes hero Stuart Broad was the top scorer out of 5,906,071 players for Gameweek 37 after achieving a whopping 180 points.

He collected an insane 46 points from captaining Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Leroy Sane's three assists at home to Brighton brought him 17, while his backline all scored double figures.

Broad even opted to use his bench boost and got some extra points there. The 31-year old posted a hilarious reaction on Instagram, comparing his achievement to his Ashes exploits.

On 169 points going into the final game between West Ham and Manchester United, a clean sheet from Adrian on his bench complete a masterful week.

We wonder if he can finish the season in the same vein today...
