Let's face it: the Barcelona era under Pep Guardiola was unbelievable. Just think about all the names that can be rattled off: Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Xavi, Carles Puyol and Sergio Busquets.
Speaking of Busquets, it seems like he caught the eye of Messi quite quickly. The former Barcelona manager has revealed what the five-time Ballon d'Or winner had to say on the Spanish defensive midfielder after training with him.
"I remember what Messi told me," Guardiola told Universo Valdano (via Goal).

"After two or three days of training with him, he came to me and said: 'I like this one.' And I said: 'When there is trouble, he will be there.'
"He does everything for those around him."
Messi's four words couldn't be any more to the point, but what an endorsement for Busquets from the Manchester City manager, too.

The Argentine magician is not the only Barça legend to show praise for the Spaniard.
"The first time Pep brought Sergio Busquets to train with us, I realised we were facing a special player," Xavi said.
"But none of us had the foresight to anticipate that Busquets was going to develop into the best midfielder in the world as he is today."
Busquets came through Barcelona's youth academy and made his first senior appearance for the club over a decade ago.
