Strange footage appearing to show a match official celebrating Liverpool's dramatic late winner against Tottenham at Anfield today has been doing the rounds.

The Reds returned to the top of the table after Mo Salah's header was spilled by Hugo Lloris and the ball came off Toby Alderweireld, trickling into the back of the net for Liverpool's 400th goal under Jurgen Klopp's tutelage.

Anfield was sent into a frenzy and cameras picked up on someone wearing an EA Sports match official jacket celebrating the late show on the match officials bench.

Even though it's not the worst thing in the world and he's not ran on the pitch to celebrate, it's not exactly a great look for him, is it?

It's the second Liverpool-Spurs game at Anfield that has featured an assistant 'celebrating' as last year Reds' supporters were convinced the linesman let out a fist pump when a last-gasp penalty was awarded for Harry Kane at the Kop in the dramatic 2-2 draw.
