Manchester United are set to hand Edinson Cavani a bumper contract to secure his services ahead of deadline day.
Cavani is reportedly in line to receive a two-year deal worth a reported £174,000-a-week.
Free agent Cavani has attracted interest from Benfica and Atletico Madrid who both failed to agree a deal for the former Paris Saint-Germain forward.

Though it appears the 33-year-old has struck terms with United who're prepared to table a two-year deal worth £9 million a year.

Well, David De Gea is currently the club's highest earner with a reported £350,000-a-week contract.
Paul Pogba is the second highest earner with a £290,000-a-week deal ahead of fellow Frenchman Anthony Martial who's on £250,000-a-week.
