Liverpool are said to be eyeing up a £20 million deal for RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Emil Forsberg.
Forsberg has been in fine form for Leipzig this season in the Bundesliga, scoring five goals and registering eight assists in an excellent start to the campaign that saw Leipzig top the table for most of the season, before Bayern Munich turned them over a couple of weeks ago.
Liverpool have been keen on Borussia Dortmund's teenager winger Christian Pulisic, who Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of, but it's clear that Dortmund have no desire to sell him, especially in the January window.

And so the Reds have identified Forsberg as an alternative.
The Swedish international, who joined Leipzig a year ago from Malmo, is capable of playing from the left or as a No.10 and would be a great candidate to fill the void that Sadio Mane will leave when he goes to the African Cup Of Nations.
He is rated at £20 million, which would be easily affordable for Liverpool if they see the need to strengthen.

The player's agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, has spoke about having meetings with "major clubs" and Liverpool are said to be one of them.
