We Need To Show More Love To Brazil's Pre-Match Shirt

We Need To Show More Love To Brazil's Pre-Match Shirt

It's a beauty...

While Nigeria's glorious home kit for the World Cup is quite rightly getting a lot of hype, given it had a whopping 3 million pre-orders and sold out in a minutes, we feel another Nike product has been slept on somewhat.

Brazil, undoubtedly one of the favourites for the showpiece in Russia, will turn out in their traditional yellow and blue home and away strips but Nike have also released a snazzy pre-match shirt that warrants more appreciation.

As was the case with England, it really ought to have been their actual shirt because its much bolder and stands out more than the plain, predictable designs opted for.

The Three Lions training top, which is inspired by the 1982 home shirt, went down an absolute treat. There was even a petition to get Gareth Southgate's side to wear it as their home kit in games at the World Cup, such was the demand.

Back to the Brazil pre-match shirt, the navy zig-zagged printed design was released back in March and will be sported by Tite's charges before every game they play this summer.

Even though there's only nine days until the World Cup, you can still pick up the Selecao training jersey for a relatively cheap price.

It's available for around £48.00 from Nike, ASOS, JD Sports, Pro Direct and others - compared to the £64.95 that some forked out for Nigeria's eye-catching design. It may have been worth it, but the Brazil one looks a bargain with all things considered.

Most importantly, it is equally as wearable whether you are playing five-a-side or heading to a music festival. It's your duty to hop online and purchase it so don't let us down...
