Some potentially big news regarding Luke Shaw's Manchester United future has surfaced.
The 22-year-old has endured a nightmare spell at Old Trafford following his big money switch from Southampton in 2014.

After starring for Southampton in the 2013/14 season, including making 35 Premier League appearances, United subsequently signed him for a believed £30 million.
But he's failed to make a significant impression at United. And it appears his days at the club are numbered.
Reports even suggest Jose Mourinho is open to offloading him in January on a permanent deal for just £20 million, according to The Times via International Business Times.

The Portuguese manager is reportedly hoping to cash in on the left-back who has not featured in a single league match day squad, this season. It's claimed the relationship between manager and player isn't good either.
Though a stumbling block could be Shaw's wages. He's reportedly on a £130,000-a-week contract which could deter teams from offering a deal.

Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have recently expressed an interest in signing Shaw who are also prepared to pay more than 50% of his wage.
Southampton are being linked with their former player, too. The Saints continue to monitor his situation, and are prepared to enter the race for his signature should the club sell Ryan Bertrand once the transfer window reopens.
The Shaw transfer saga continues.
