Jorginho continued his impressive start for Chelsea with a superb performance in the middle of the park.
Chelsea fought hard to beat a stern Newcastle side 2-1 at St James' Park, with a late DeAndre Yedlin own goal ensuring a third win out of three in the game.

The Blues dominated possession throughout as Newcastle set up in the deepest of blocks. And Chelsea's No.5 saw a lot of the ball, running the game from deep and achieving some pretty remarkable statistics as a result.
He wasn't too far off setting a new record for the most passes completed in a single Premier League game, while he also had completed 27 more passes than the whole Newcastle side.

Signed for a reported £57 million, Jorginho is just a midfield metronome who is fundamental to Maurizio Sarri's style of play. Don't be surprised if he goes on to break the pass record this season.
The Italian international is far from a goalscoring midfielder but we've already seen that he's pretty brilliant at taking penalties after his sublime spot-kick on his Premier League debut.
We need to talk about that Jorginho penalty.
