Swansea are looking at their third manager of the season after axing both Francesco Guidolin and Bob Bradley.

Ryan Giggs, Chris Coleman, Roy Hodgson and Gary Rowett are the leading names for the vacant post, but Harry Redknapp also appears to putting his name in the hat.

According to Matt Law from The Telegraph, Redknapp has stated his interest in the Swansea job.

The 69-year old has been absent from club management for nearly two years when he left QPR back in February 2015. He then had a brief stint managing the Jordan national team as well as doing some advising for Derby County and Aussie side Central Coast Mariners.

Though he has said he hasn't had any sort of approach from Swansea, there is talk of this opportunity being the one that will see Redknapp return to full-time management.

Commenting on the Swansea job, he said:

"I think if the opportunity and the challenge came up it would be one that would be interesting.

"It's a good club Swansea. Where they've come from and what they've done. You go there and the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic for their games at home.

"I've not heard anything, I've had no approach from anybody but it's a good club."

The report from the Telegraph says that Redknapp, the ultimate wheeler-dealer (don't tell him I said that, though), already has transfer plans and should Swansea's American owners choose him, he would go after John Terry and nephew Frank Lampard.

Terry is no longer a regular in the Chelsea side and at 36, they can afford to let him go because Kurt Zouma is returning to fitness and Antonio Conte is keen on signing an extra defender to fit the back three system that has worked wonders for the league leaders this term.

Having left New York City at the end of the recent MLS campaign, Lampard is still open to playing and could do a favour for the man who gave him his first-team debut at West Ham.

We'll keep you updated when news reaches that Redknapp also wants to sign Peter Crouch, Niko Kranjcar, Jermain Defoe and Bobby Zamora, even though he's retired.

Get the band back together, Harry.
