While You Were Watching The Champions League, Ruben Neves Did The Unthinkable

This is just something else...

While the majority of you reading this were watching Juventus dominate Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, the youngest captain in Champions League history and Wolves phenomenon Ruben Neves scored the best goal of the season.

In fact, Neves thunderbolt from 35 yards might just be one of the best goals you'll see in a lifetime.

No seriously. The 21-year-old flicked the ball up and volleyed home in truly incredible fashion against Derby County on Wednesday night.

Stop what you are doing and watch this magnificent effort from a very special player. Take a bow, Ruben.

Neves signed for Wolves from Porto for a fee of £15 million last season in one of the most bizarre transfers in football history.

Since his arrival though, the midfielder has well and truly made his mark on the Championship.

Neves was part of the Portugal U21 team that finished runners up at the 2015 European Championships and has made appearances for his country at all levels, but surely a regular place in the Portugal team will come his way sooner rather than later.

Especially if Wolves gain promotion to the Premier League.

TAKE A BOW, RUBEN NEVES!
