Gerard Pique is not a man who enjoys being quiet. Whether he's barking orders from defence or taunting Real Madrid fans, the Barcelona centre half enjoys the notoriety that comes with being loose lipped. And now it seems he wants to engage in impromptu interviews on Twitter at every available opportunity.
The Spain international hosted another one of his Twitter Q&A's yesterday and was asked all manner of questions. As you can imagine, the former Manchester United man was inundated with queries and was once again good value, revealing that his favourite stadiums are Camp Nou, Old Trafford and Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena and that he intends to retire at Barcelona.
The four time Champions League winner also passed comment on Valencia u19's penalty shoot out drama with Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League yesterday, when Los Che's youngsters had a penalty wrongly chalked off in the deciding shoot-out despite the fact the spot kick went in. Pique described the incident as a 'huge injustice'.
Now can someone please ask him if there'll ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark? Thank you.
