EA Sports Release Official Trailer For FIFA 19 And The Champions League Is Back
In an official statement, both Konami and UEFA confirmed back in April that their "very successful and fruitful" 10-year partnership would come to an end once the Champions League final is done and dusted.
Two months later, we can finally confirm that the Champions League will feature in the next edition of FIFA 19 after EA Sports announced the news in an exclusive first trailer at EA Play.
It was a long time coming but we'll finally be able to listen to that famous music once more.
Here's the official trailer, released by EA Sports on Saturday afternoon:

FIFA 19 already looks pretty stacked and EA Sports are racking up the licences ahead of the worldwide launch, with the above trailer giving us a real idea of how the game will play out come September.
For the first time ever, the Champions League and Europa League will be coming to the FIFA franchise.
In addition to that, it's also been officially confirmed that Borussia Dortmund's exclusive deal with Pro Evolution Soccer has been ended prematurely, giving EA the ability to bring BVB's Signal Iduna Park back into the equation for FIFA 19.

"KONAMI and Borussia Dortmund had a license agreement with respect to the use of Borussia Dortmund's logos, players, stadium and other features in KONAMI products until June 2020," read an official Konami statement.
"However this agreement was prematurely terminated by Borussia Dortmund. KONAMI will not include Borussia Dortmund's logos, players, stadium and other features in PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2019."
It's certainly an exciting time to be a FIFA fan, right now.
