A punter turned £2 into £500,000 after predicting the outcomes of 18 different fixtures in one of the best ever accumulators we've seen.

Betting with Ladbrokes, the football fan's accumulator was made up of games in League One and League Two, as well as international matches.

The odds were at 252,991-1 and luck was definitely on their side as no less than FOUR injury time goals made the bettor half a million pound richer.

There were 95th minute winners for Colchester and Mansfield against Tranmere and Oldham Athletic respectively, while he also had England, Germany, Qatar and the Netherlands to win their games.

Spain were also on the slip but looked like they might just the team to let the punter down when Albania's Myrto Uzuni cancelled out Ferran Torres' strike in the 85th minute.

But in the 90th minute, La Roja won it when Dani Olmo curled in a beauty after glorious play from Pedri and Jordi Alba down the left flank.

Still, though, the bet was in danger of collapsing as Mozambique bagged a 90th minute leveller in the friendly against Mauritania.

Surely the money was down the drain? Nope, Lamine Ba put the hosts back in the lead in the 92nd minute in a dramatic finale.

£505,984.88 was the exact sum as a result of four crazy finishes across the world.

A @Ladbrokes customer turned £2 into £505,984.88 yesterday, correctly predicting EIGHTEEN football results.

Their acca included:

2x 95th minute winners
1x 92nd minute winner
1x 90th minute winner

Without a doubt the best bet I've ever seen.

"Quite simply, we've never seen anything like this," Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati commented.

"Our plucky punter must not have any fingernails left after yesterday's late drama. Turning two quid into half a million... it might just be the best winning acca story of all-time!"
