Former Cameroon footballer Rigobert Song is believed to be in a critical condition after suffering a stroke.
The 40-year old, who turned out for both Liverpool and West Ham in the Premier League, suffered a brain aneurysm (a bulge in the blood vessel) and was subsequently rushed to the local hospital in Yaounde, Cameroon.
Song, the uncle of former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Alex, is fighting for his life.
A host of people involved in football showed their support for the Chad national team boss, including many of his former teammates.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Song and his family at this time. Here's hoping he pulls through.
