Fans have been awash with hilarious suggestions on who should be the next sponsors of Manchester United.

Chevrolet, the club's current shirt sponsors since 2014, are ending their agreement when it expires in 2021 after feeling as though they have been 'massively overpaying' without getting much in return in terms of silverware.

The American car manufacturer initially signed a £410 million deal to be spread across seven years in 2012 but during their time on the shirt United haven't won a single league title the company are not opting against an extension according to the Daily Mail.

United are already said to be on the hunt for a new sponsor but given their dire situation at the moment, fans trolled the Red Devils with daft suggestions:

Previous sponsors AON paid £19.6 million-a-season to be featured front and centre, while before that AIG had a deal that saw United collect £14.1 million-a-season.

Ed Woodward might not have a clue when it comes to recruitment and transfers but he sure know hows to secure a lucrative sponsorship agreement...
