If you want a broken ankle or a grazed knee, then a Sunday League football pitch is the perfect way to sustain an injury. Just ask Keith from your local.

"Watch the bounce" screams your big centre-back - It really is a skill to read such a different playing surface, and it looks like Manchester United will have to deal with that unpredictably when they travel to Russia this week.

Jose Mourinho's side will face FC Rostov in the Europa League round of 16 tie on Thursday evening, but the Manchester United boss is surprised that the game is going ahead because of the "unplayable" surface.

"It is hard for me to believe that we are going to play on that field, if you can call it a field," he told the media on Wednesday.

You have to agree with Mourinho on this one. During such an important stage of the season, injury is likely tomorrow night, which has thrown Manchester United's squad selection into disarray:

"And I don't know what team to play, really. I don't know if Henrikh Mkhitaryan is going to play. I don't know." Mourinho said.

"I have now a lot to think, because I was expecting something more playable.

"In a very similar pitch in the summer in China we decided not to play, but it looks like we have to play."

Thoughts on the pitch condition? Let us know.

But it seems Mourinho may leave out Henrikh Mkhitaryan due to the state of the pitch.
