The wing-back had the perfect chance to give Vancouver Whitecaps an early lead against LA Galaxy after his side were awarded a penalty in the very first minute.

But he fluffed his lines from the spot after attempting a cheeky panenka penalty.

His tame effort was eventually saved by Galaxy's keeper.
