Former Brazilian international Hulk has made headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months, after ditching his wife...for her own niece.

However, after the announcement of her niece's pregnancy with the footballer, and the subsequent gender reveal, ex-spouse Iran Angelo has publically spoken out against the couple.

Hulk, now 35 and playing for Atletico Mineiro back in his native Brazil, announced the pregnancy news last month, which quickly circulated around the globe.

However, last Saturday, new wife Camila chose to post a gender reveal video, which seems to have incensed the player's ex-wife even more.

The happy couple stared lovingly into each other's eyes as they revealed they were having a baby daughter.

Shortly after, Angelo posted a response of her own.

"Lies and disloyalties are like knives, they cut our flesh, make us bleed, dry up, die a little inside,' the mother-of-three wrote alongside an image of a clock.

"Only time has the skill to unmask appearances, reveal lies and show someone's true character.

"But for the one who has God, this dying means being reborn. I am reborn with each disappointment, each lie unveiled because Jesus made me strong. Thank you Lord, for another deliverance," Angelo added to the caption.

The pair were married for 12 years previously, ending their relationship in mid-2019. Just a few months later, reports began to emerge that the winger, whose real name is Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, was romantically involved with his ex's own niece.

Hulk has enjoyed an eventful footballing career to date, having shone for both Porto and Zenit St Petersberg in the early 2010s.

He was a key member of Andre Villas Boas' 2011 Europa League winning squad, before moving on to CSL side Shanghai SIPG in the latter years of his career.

Hulk also enjoyed a fair bit of success on the international stage, having earned 49 caps for Brazil since 2009, scoring 11 goals during that time for the Selecao.
