News is breaking in the last few minutes that Everton have sacked manager Ronald Koeman, after the Toffees slumped into the Premier League relegation zone, following yesterday's 5-2 thrashing by Arsenal at Goodison Park.
The Dutchman took over at Goodison Park in the summer of 2016 but has endured a difficult relationship with Toffees fans, which wasn't made any easier by the dreadful start he has overseen to the current campaign, after spending over £150 million on new recruits, this past summer.
Yesterday's humbling at the hands of Arsene Wenger's men appears to have been the final straw for the Everton board, with the former Southampton and Valencia manager being relieved of his duties on Merseyside, this afternoon.

Everton currently lie in 18th place in the Premier League, having won only two of their opening nine games.
