Diogo Jota had a very busy Friday, collecting wins on FIFA 20 and on the pitch against Premier League champions Manchester City.

Just hours before Wolves came from 2-0 down to beat Pep Guardiola's side at Molineux, the Portuguese forward was partaking in a bit of Ultimate Team action.

Ryan, a Liverpool fan, ended up playing against the Wolves No.18, who promptly spanked him 6-1 at around 2:30pm. The 23-year old felt the wrath of Jota's 99-rated pro card but actually didn't mind one bit.

"He was difficult to break past but I didn't even realise it was him until around the 50th minute when he subbed his 99 pro player card on at 1-0.

"From then on I pretty much tried letting him score with his card to get a picture for my friends to see, was well happy to play against him."

Jota's pro card scored the fourth goal in the trouncing and Ryan, who has also played against someone from the German second tier in FIFA 18, says his style of play was "tika-taka", with plenty of quick, incisive build-up play.

His spicy team had Hugo Lloris in net, behind a back four of Cafu, Virgil van Dijk, Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluca Zambrotta.

The French pair of N'Golo Kante and Moussa Sissoko anchors the midfield, with the legendary Gheorghe Hagi playing as a number ten.

Moussa Dembele and Sadio Mane provide the pace and trickery on the wings, supporting Emilio Butragueño in attack.

After picking up the comprehensive victory on FIFA, Jota was part of the Wolves side that beat Manchester City for a third time this season.

The former Benfica man was responsible for Ederson's sending off when Jota was taken out by the City goalkeeper in the 12th minute.

He was replaced by Pedro Neto in the 79th minute with the score at 2-1, prior to late goals from Raul Jimenez and Matt Doherty sealing a memorable win.
