Philippe Coutinho's ability to unlock defenders and score from wherever he pleases has left Liverpool fans on the edge of their seats since the Brazilian arrived at Anfield in 2013. And the diminutive playmaker has earned himself a rather magical nickname from his teammates.
In a recent interview during the international break, Coutinho's Liverpool teammate Daniel Sturridge let slip that the former Internazionale youngster is known as 'David Blaine', after the American magician who has made a career out of trapping himself inside stuff for weeks on end.

Coutinho has scored five goals in 10 Premier League games, this season, helping fire Jurgen Klopp's team to the top flight's summit and putting himself forward as an early contender for PFA Player Of The Year.
