Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez could be in trouble after allegedly breaching coronavirus protocols.
The Juventus star whisked Georgina to a birthday getaway to another region of Italy and stayed in an officially closed hotel, according to widespread reports.
He faces a potential fine after visiting the orange zone of Courmayeu earlier this week.
Traveling between cities in Italy is banned amid the global pandemic.

Italian rules state: "Travel across regions in Italy is banned until 15 February unless for reasons of work, health or absolute necessity."
The couple are now reportedly under police investigation, but have not yet been fined for their trip to the luxury ski resort.

On Tuesday, Georgina celebrated her 27th birthday in the five-star Le Massif hotel.
Ronaldo dined his partner before a snowmobile ride around the Alps.
She shared a video of their romantic trip on social media before swiftly deleting it.

Though a fan account uploaded the clip, accompanied with the caption: "On the evening of the 26th, they had a romantic dinner, and on the morning of January 27th, they decided to ride a snowmobile 'under the snow in the Val Veny area, starting from Zerotta to get towards Checroix...'
"Of course, everything was as incognito as possible for a good rest."
Ronaldo and Georgina have since returned to Turin with further reports claiming the Italian police visited the hotel on Thursday and found it shut.

Juventus were in action on Wednesday when they beat Spal 4-0 in the Coppa Italia, but Ronaldo was given a rest by manager Andrea Pirlo.
But he's set to return to action on Saturday as his side travel to Sampdoria.
