Coleman spoke to Carragher, Kevin Campbell and David Jones following his side's goalless draw with Brighton on Monday.
Asked whether their mounting injury list played a part in the result, the Toffees defender said: "We don't want to be harping on about injuries, there are plenty teams doing that."
Liverpool legend Carragher then weighed in, asking Coleman if he was talking about the Reds.
"You're not talking about Liverpool there with injuries are you, Seamus?" He asked.

A third joked: "Wonder who Seamus is talking about here?"
