South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been rushed to prison after suffering injuries, according to officials.
The Paralympic gold medallist, who is serving six years in prison for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, has been taken to a private hospital with injuries to his wrists.
According to reports, Pistorius was trying to harm himself but prison authorities say he told them he had injured himself falling out of bed.

City Press claim a source told them the injuries were intentional after finding blades in Pistorius' cell.
