Brazilian Striker Celebrates Goal By Jumping Over Barrier, It Doesn't End Well

Incredibly scary stuff...

Consadole Sapporo striker Anderson Lopes was so excited after scoring that he immediately set about jumping over a barrier to celebrate with the fans.

However, the Brazilian was unaware of just how steep the drop was and accidentally ended up falling about 10 foot on concrete in a seriously scary scene.

In a clip doing the rounds, it looked like the 25-year old had dropped to the depths of hell during his passionate goal celebration for his second goal against Shimizu S-Pulse.

We see him acrobatically leap over the barrier like he was a parkour master but in a flash he just disappears.

He was attended to by medical staff straight away and recovered perfectly from the nasty fall, going on to score a further two goals in a thrilling 5-2 J-League victory. Insane stuff.

Clearly Consadole forgot to tell their new striker about the big drop and unfortunately for him he learnt the hard way.

Lopes isn't the only one to have had a goal celebration go horribly wrong in recent times. When Benjamin Kololli put FC Zurich ahead in front in his side's opening Europa League clash with AEK Larnaca in September, he rushed over to the away fans.

He cleared the first barrier with ease but did not realise how deep the drop was on the second one - jumping down and disappearing in some quite remarkable scenes. His teammates looked on to see where he'd ended up - one quickly aborting his trip when he saw what happened.

Some say both men are still falling as we speak...
