Karim Benzema wants to change his international allegiance after being told he will not play for France again.
Benzema has been capped 81 times for Les Bleus but hasn't featured since 2015, following on from the sex tape scandal he was involved in with teammate Mathieu Valbuena.
Despite going about his business at club level, scoring 30 goals for Real Madrid last term, the 31-year old remains frozen out.

And French football president Noel Le Graet was adamant the door was closed for a return to the fold when asked about a return.
He told RMC Sport: "For me, Benzema is a very good player. I have never criticised his qualities.
"On the contrary, he is proving again this year at Madrid that he is one of the best players in his position. But the adventure with France is over."

Benzema took issue with Le Graet's comments, however, and asked for France to let him continue his international career with another country with whom he is eligible to represent.
"Noel, I thought that you did not interfere with the decisions of the national team coach!" Benzema wrote on Twitter.

"Know that it will be me and me alone who decides when my international career is over.
"If you think that I am finished, let me play for a country that I am eligible to play for and we will see."
Benzema is of Algerian descent through his parents and was previously quoted as saying Algeria is "my country".
However, the fact he has played competitively for France means there is next to no way he will be allowed to make the switch.
