When staunch Manchester City fan Ben Kielty and his three-year old son bumped into Benjamin Mendy ahead of Premier League clash with Fulham, he couldn't have possibly dreamt what would follow.
While getting ready to make their way over to the main entrance and head to their seats, they spotted Mendy and asked for a picture outside the ground.
But the World Cup winner did so much more than that - he made them his special guests in the club's 'Tunnel Club' hospitality and gave them a quite incredible experience.
Anyone in the 'Tunnel Club' normally splashes out £15,000 per season for the VIP treatment but Mendy, Ben junior's favourite player, went above and beyond to look after them.
Having given them access-all-areas passes, he invited them to his table, introduced him to his friends and bought them food and drink. Mendy even sat the little lad on his knee and chatted to him for about "20 minutes".
The 24-year old's pals made sure Ben had a glass of champagne with though, while his little one got a goody bag to complete a surreal experience for the 3-0 win over Fulham.
At the end of the day my son was comfortable enough to go up to him put his hands up to mendy so he would pick him up, which he did," Ben told SPORtbible of how their day ended.
"My son said 'Merci Benjamin' for the day and my dinner and then Mendy asked him had he had a good day, give him a hug and then we left."
Mendy had no reason to do such a selfless act but we salute him for doing so. Top man.
