PSG have lost several of their top academy products of late, with Claudio Gomes, a 17-year old midfielder, appearing to be the latest. He is poised to join Manchester City at the end of the season, with a phone call from Pep Guardiola apparently proving vital.

One of the most high-profile players to have slipped through the fingers at the Ligue One giants in recent years was Kingsley Coman.

The winger came through the ranks in the French capital and became the club's youngest ever player when he took to the field against Sochaux in 2013, aged 16 years, eight months and four days.

However, he made just four appearances for the club and was signed by Juventus after his contract had expired.

He lasted just a season in Turin though, signing for another world football giant in Bayern Munich The deal was initially a two-year loan that Bayern decided to make permanent in April and Coman is now contracted until 2023.

Though he sees himself staying with the club for another five or six years, the France international says he will leave the club at some point and he harbours hopes of a return to PSG, his boyhood club.

"I'm certainly here for five or six years, but I cannot say that in 10 years - when I would be 31 - I'd still be here. But it is certain that I will stay for a long time," he told BILD.

"If I leave Bayern at some point, then I would have to go to an even bigger club. There is no such club. There is only one option: my favourite club was Paris as I played there for a long time."

Coman has made 26 appearances for Bayern this season, scoring four goals. As a winger, he has the ability to learn from two of the very best in the business in Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, with the 21-year old revealing the pair have helped him out.

The wealthiest sports teams in the world:

"Franck always helped me, always giving me advice to make me better, he's a team player, he wants the team to succeed.

"I do not see him as a competitor, he's a team-mate, and I can also play on the right wing, so Arjen Robben would be my competitor - we three like each other."
