Barcelona starlet Ansu Fati continues to make a huge impression, having mercilessly destroyed Ivan Rakitic in training today.

Last night, in the 5-2 win over Real Betis, Fati became the youngest player to feature for the Blaugrana since 1941 when he replaced Carles Perez in the 79th minute at the Nou Camp.

Aged 16 years and 298 days, Fati was incredibly bright in his second half cameo and looked completely at home on the right flank.

The La Masia youth product was thrust into the first-team environment following injuries to Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez but looks to be grasping his opportunity with both hands.

Today he's training with the first-team once again and decided to send Rakitic for a hot dog and chips with a deft drop of the shoulder that floored the Croatian and left him thinking about his life choices for a moment.

Pretty brutal stuff. Fati is evidently brimming with confidence at the moment and who can blame him? He recently signed a three-year contract at the club and has a โ‚ฌ100 million release clause in his contract.

But incredibly, he's so young that Barcelona had to ask his parents' permission for him to play in the game because of La Liga's restrictions on under age players in night games.

His mum and dad weren't too bothered by the 9pm local time, however, and the Bissau-Guinean teenager was handed his debut.

After the game he received a huge from five-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi, who sent out a wonderful message on Instagram.
