Barcelona Have Until End Of June To Re-Sign Former Player

Barcelona Have Until End Of June To Re-Sign Former Player

They need to move fast.

Barcelona have a habit of re-signing former players.

The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Gerard Pique and Denis Suarez spent time in the youth ranks before being sold on and being brought back when the time was right. It's common knowledge that Barca place buy-back clauses on their youth players should they be offloaded.

It's obviously a very shrewd thing to do as in many cases, the players have improved significantly to the point where they would be of use in the first-team squad - Denis Suarez's form this season is evidence of that.

And there are reports that they are looking to do the same with a few other players.

Not only are they exploring the possibility of bringing Hector Bellerin back to the club having had several issues at right-back this season, some reports have indicated that they are considering buying Gerard Deulofeu again.

The 23-year old was sold permanently to Everton for a mere £4.2 million after a successful loan spell a couple of seasons earlier but was not fancied by Ronald Koeman and was loaned out to AC Milan in January.

He's impressed in Italy, scoring once and registering three assists and was made his way into the Spain national team - scoring a goal against France in a 2-0 win last night.

Barca appear to be taking notice of his form and according to SPORT, have an option to bring him back to the Nou Camp for €12 million euros.

However, they must activate that buy-back clause before June 30 as that is when the clause expires.

Do you think Deulofeu has what it takes to go back to Barca and make a big impact?
