Last night, Serie A side Atalanta experienced what we've all had to contend with on Football Manager or FIFA when they had a ridiculous 47 shots and still failed to score against Empoli.

Gian Piero Gasperini's side are vying for a spot in next season's Champions League and had the chance to draw level on points with AC Milan in fourth if they won.

They dominated throughout, mustering a crazy 18 shots on target compared to the one Empoli managed in Bergamo, but drew a blank for the second game on the trot.

Alejandro Gomez had a total of nine goalscoring efforts, Josip Ilicic took eight shots, while Duvan Zapata, who has notched 20 goals in Serie A this season, had seven.

Visiting goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski was extremely busy, making a staggering 17 saves in the game - the most in a Serie A game since Opta started collecting data and the most in the top five European leagues this term.

It wasn't as if they were all routine saves from distance as well, the 21-year old Polish shot-stopper made 11 saves from shots inside the box - including an absolute worldie to deny Hans Hateboer in the second half.

Check out the highlights (specifically Dragowski's display) here:
